Seems like it's worth checking out. I wonder if you bundle more stuff up they only charge the one $15 postage fee?

Hi Raptor,
This sounds very interesting. Are the airport diagrams and circuit entry diagrams the same ones that come in the Visual Pilot Guides?
Can you elaborate on what the "28 page A5 flight planning spiro bound book" and "Preflight Personal Minimums Checklist (Laminated)
" are?
From what I understand these are designed for the low hour PPL holder, so from my point of view this could be a beneficial thing to grab. Having grabbed just about everything out of the CASA store recently (thanks to the $15 flat rate shipping) I just want to get a feel for whether another $15 now is warranted of if I should wait for more new items to grab at the same time.
Cheers,
Brett

All:
The six maps that I mentioned,I have not seen them elsewhere, except maybe the Visual Pilot Guides, that have just been released. The laminated fuel calculator,I have seen in the same publications. The Personal Minimums laminated card,is an expanded content version of the one in the above publications. The abreviated flight plan form/fuel calculator,I have not come across before.Just as a small tip,I have laminated the six maps,(coz I can),and have placed them with the VTC's,for the appropriate area,so that I have all the airport info,in one place. The metal knee pad,is a A5 size with the obligatory metal spring holder.Basically, for $15.00 total cost (mail out cost),I reckon it's bloody good value, and worth the cost.I reckon that the knee board, alone,is worth the $15.00,the rest is just an added bomus.Delivery takes 5-7 days after you order.

I received the Kit today from CASA through their industry review program, and it definitely is recommended for all PPL pilots, especially since it is free. Go nuts ordering stuff on their website, I did a year or two ago.
The other kit recommended is the Safety Behaviors kit, while designed for commercial pilots, it's well worth PPL's looking at it too. Ben Cook at CASA did a great job.

Definitely great to see CASA putting out some more quality gear at very cheap rates.
We've just started looking at their OnTrack product [url]http://www.casa.gov.au/ontrack[url] & mention it in our latest show.
Have any of you folks checked it out yet?
